About the Role

The Manager, Financial Reporting supports the preparation and filing of financial reports and assists with technical accounting matters to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and other regulations. This role plays a key part in the Company’s reporting obligations, including periodic filings. The position reports to the Senior Manager, Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting and partners closely with external auditors, legal counsel, and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and support the timely filing of multiple required financial reports.
  • Assist in drafting financial statements, disclosures, and other lender reporting.
  • Research and analyze technical accounting issues for complex transactions in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Prepare accounting memoranda and support implementation of new accounting standards affecting financial reporting and disclosures.
  • Support external audit activities related to reporting and technical accounting, ensuring timely and accurate responses to auditor inquiries.
  • Assist in compliance initiatives and maintain documentation supporting internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR).
  • Contribute to the quarterly and annual close processes to ensure accurate and complete external reporting within established deadlines.
  • Support continuous improvement of reporting workflows and internal control procedures.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and other departments to support external reporting requirements and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide analytical support and contribute to a scalable, compliance-focused reporting environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of combined public accounting and/or industry experience, including direct involvement in financial reporting processes.

Qualifications

  • CPA license.
  • Experience supporting external reporting is preferred.
  • Prior experience with a Big Four or national public accounting firm is highly desirable.
  • Strong technical accounting research and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex transactions and apply U.S. GAAP guidance effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced reporting environment.
  • Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP reporting requirements, as well as experience supporting SOX compliance and internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR).
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and SEC reporting tools such as Workiva or similar platforms, along with advanced Excel capabilities.

Pay

Base salary range: $109,089 – $128,340 per year. Individuals may be eligible for an annual performance bonus based on both individual and company performance.
