Responsibilities
- Oversee the management of project grants, budgets, revenue, expenditures, and contract compliance
- Supervise a team of analysts with day to day responsibility for project grants, budgets, revenue, expenditures, and contract compliance
- Work closely with government agencies, private funders, and other outside stakeholders
- Provide financial review and approval of the Center’s revenue and expense contracts
- Review monthly, quarterly, and annual close and identify adjusting journal entries as needed
- Review and approve vendor invoices, expense reports, and corporate card reconciliations
- Review and approve invoices to funders
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and facilitate the collection of payment from funders
- Reconcile receivable accounts
- Support the Director with financial duties and special projects as needed
- Additional tasks as necessary
Qualifications
- At least 5-7 years of demonstrable experience and success in nonprofit financial management required
- At least 1-2 years of prior supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or other related fields strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is crucial to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
- Capability to work independently and prioritize tasks to ensure the timely completion of projects
- Ability to handle sensitive information which requires maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion
- A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset are essential to foster a collaborative work environment
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities are essential to handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively

The compensation range for this position is $103,000 - $128,700 and is commensurate with experience.Benefits
