About the role
This position is responsible for supporting the FP&A function and working cross-functionally across the organization. The role will support budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and long-range financial models, as well as the monthly variance analysis process.
Responsibilities
- Own portions of the budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial planning process, working closely with the CFO and other members of the finance team.
- Support the annual budgeting process and monthly reforecasting cycles.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders to ensure cross-functional alignment of financial and corporate goals, including internal department heads.
- Work with the team to develop, optimize, and standardize FP&A processes through the adoption of best practices and drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, data integrity, and system utilization.
- Maintain dynamic models to evaluate the end-to-end financial impacts of cost changes, supplier decisions, and process improvements (e.g., Inventory Model).
- Maintain and improve the three-statement financial model on a monthly basis.
- Collaborate with the Accounting team and other departments to perform ad-hoc projects as needed.
- Work cross-functionally to identify initiatives that improve financial and operational processes as the business scales.
- Prepare variance analysis comparing Actuals vs. Budget, Forecast, Prior Year, and key business drivers on a monthly basis.
- Partner closely with Accounting to ensure accurate reporting and alignment between actuals and forecasts.
- Support board materials, leadership presentations, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Strict adherence to FDA regulations and company policies governing financial and operational activities, including compliance training, accurate documentation, and proactive participation in compliance reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Ideally 6+ years of professional related work experience; manufacturing experience a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills; SAP experience a plus.
- Financial/detail-oriented with excellent analytical abilities and customer focus.
- Excellent communication skills.
CPA license is a plus.
