Job Summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) is a leader in remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars. They are seeking a Manager of Finance AI Solutions to join their GA-ASI Finance Solutions (FS) team in Poway, CA.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Manages and participates in AI application development activities.
• Architects, implements, and monitors AI solutions.
• Protects company data, models, tools, and information systems.
• Represents the group in external and internal communications.
• Ledges and retains AI/ML and software engineering personnel.
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Ensures compliance with laws, regulations, and obligations.
• Ensures work is done safely according to established procedures.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 9 years of progressive applications experience.
• Complete understanding of applications concepts, techniques, and standards, as well as modern AI/ML concepts and solution architecture patterns.
• Ability to organize, schedule, conduct, and coordinate workloads and staff.
• Customer-focused, strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to influence and guide employees.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Python, machine learning, and modern software development practices.
• Advanced degree or coursework in AI Engineering, Machine Learning, or related discipline preferred.
• Hands-on experience with various AI/ML techniques and tools.
• Experience in finance, FP&A, or defense contracting domain knowledge preferred.
