About the role

The Manager, Facilities Operations, leads the day-to-day facilities operation of Etihad City Football Academy New York. The role is responsible for ensuring the site is safe, secure, clean, well maintained, and fully prepared to support NYCFC players, coaches, employees, visitors, and stakeholders. The position will uphold high standards across the Academy while identifying issues early, driving efficient solutions, and delivering a professional, reliable environment for training, events, and daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day facilities operations of Etihad City Football Academy New York, ensuring the site is safe, secure, clean, well maintained, compliant, and operationally ready.
• Oversee facilities services, including maintenance, cleaning, catering, security, reception, grounds, landscaping, energy management, storage, mail, deliveries, bookings, and opening and closing procedures.
• Manage Facilities Operations staff, contractors, vendors, schedules, work assignments, performance, and service standards.
• Oversee planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, building-management systems, MEP systems, life-safety systems, CCTV, access control, gym and medical equipment, and other critical infrastructure.
• Manage vendor and contractor relationships, contracts, procurement support, service-level agreements, KPIs, audits, corrective actions, and quality-assurance processes.
• Develop and manage operating plans, budgets, OPEX, invoices, purchasing, inventory, asset records, maintenance histories, and operational reports.
• Lead site health and safety, risk management, safeguarding, emergency preparedness, incident response, inspections, and regulatory compliance in partnership with the VP, Safety and Security
