Job Summary
Directs all Foundation signature events – fundraising, stewardship, and cultivation and builds a comprehensive strategy for engaging potential and current donors to increase donor engagement and contribute to the donor pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Leads relationship building with current sponsors to cultivate and secure event related partnerships
- Partners with the corporate engagement team to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward new sponsors
- Builds relationships with prospective event related partners
- PARTNERS WITH OTHER FOUNDATION AREAS TO BUILD AWARENESS OF CHILDREN’S WISCONSIN AS A CAUSE THROUGH EVENT BASED MARKETING AND FUNDRAISING TACTICS
- SERVES AS THE EVENT LEAD FOR THE FOUNDATIONS SIGNATURE EVENT, RALLY ROUND, WHICH IS A LARGE SCALE FUNDERE, BRAND AWARENESS AND TEAM MEMBER ENGAGEMENT EVENT
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Six years progressively responsible and successful event and fundraising experience
- Minimum of three years successful leadership of a team
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Creative ability; strategic and innovative thinking
- Organizational and problem solving skills
- Interpersonal skills, and management experience
- A high level of organizational ability in order to manage, coordinate and evaluate event staff and activities
- Develop event budgets as well as efficiently manage the utilization of volunteer staff
SkillsAbility to sit, walk and stand for extended periods of time, as well as lift and carry objects weighing approximately 25 pounds during event functions which accounts for at least 10% of the time
