  • Establish external adoption metrics: exhibitor profile completion, mobile app activation, lead capture usage, attendee engagement, matchmaking participation, and sponsorship performance.
  • Ensure KPI definitions are consistent, documented, and understood across the team and by show team stakeholders.
  • Explore and apply AI-assisted approaches to anomaly detection, pattern recognition, and predictive reporting across event technology data.
  • Reporting & Dashboard Delivery: Build and maintain repeatable dashboards and report templates for event technology performance across the portfolio.
  • Manage reporting request intake and prioritization from Operations Managers, Platform Leads, and the Senior Director.

  • Identify inconsistencies in data across platforms and shows; drive toward greater standardization where possible.
  • Support integration requirements scoping by documenting what data needs to move between platforms and what reporting depends on it.

Qualifications

  • Genuinely curious about data, able to build structure where little exists, and know how to make reporting feel useful rather than burdensome.
  • Experience in a reporting, analytics, or business intelligence role and building dashboards, defining KPIs, and managing reporting for an operational team or business function.
  • Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent; experience working with data platforms like Databricks or similar is a plus.
  • Curiosity about AI-assisted analytics tools and a willingness to experiment with how they can improve reporting quality and efficiency.
  • Strong ability to work across systems and translate business questions into data requirements and vice versa.
  • Experience partnering with technical teams (data engineering, IT, or platform administrators) to understand data availability and resolve pipeline issues.
  • Highly organized with a process orientation: you build intake systems, manage competing requests, and keep stakeholders informed without being asked twice.
  • Clear communicator who can present data findings to non-technical audiences, including executives, without oversimplifying or overloading.
  • Experience with event technology platforms (registration, mobile apps, lead scanning, CRM, or similar) is a plus, not a requirement.
