Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 4+ existing Equipment Service Engineers
- Coordinate Equipment Service Engineer support requests with Quality Control, Analytical Development, and Analytical Services Lab owners
- Prioritize tasks relating to team’s backlog
- Perform FSE team resource planning (Routine Lab Support, Lab Capital Projects, New Technology Introduction, etc.)
- Liaison with Information Technology and Site Infrastructure management groups for coordination of instrument integration and installation
- Develop training plans for existing teams and coordinate technical training with Corporate Agilent organization
- Manage replacement parts consumption
- Provide regulatory and client audit support by defending maintenance, qualification, and use of lab instruments
- Support existing team with escalation of technical troubleshooting support
- Oversee documentation of service activities and repairs in computerized maintenance management software
- Equipment Service Engineer technology responsibilities include: HPLC systems, including 1260/1290, LCMS, QTOF, and BioInertsGC and GCMSICPMSFlame AAUV-Vis spectrophotometersOligoPro II Capillary Electrophoresis
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry biochemistry, biotechnology or similar
- 5+ years experience as an Agilent Field Service Engineer or similar position
- Experience with the Agilent solutions is required
- Experience with troubleshooting and problem solving
- Desired: Leadership experience as a supervisor/manager
- Agilent provided instrument training

- The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $105,280.00 - $164,500.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits
