Manager, EPIC Training
Position Summary

As the Manager, Epic Training, you will play a critical role in supporting our Oak Street Health patients, providers and business by driving the hands-on execution and sustainment of a high-performing Epic Super User network. Additionally, the position serves as the primary liaison between the Oak Street Health Learning team and the enterprise Clinical Informatics team, ensuring strategic alignment across both teams. Finally, the Manager is tasked with delivering high-quality Epic training sessions to clinical and non-clinical staff alike as needed. Through meticulous program operations, relationship management, and training facilitation, this role ensures all staff receive effective Epic training and ongoing support across all regions.
About the Role
The Manager, Epic Training will oversee the Epic Super User network, coordinate training sessions, and serve as a liaison between the Oak Street Health Learning team and the enterprise Clinical Informatics team. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
Responsibilities
- Drive the hands-on execution and sustainment of a high-performing Epic Super User network
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Oak Street Health Learning team and the enterprise Clinical Informatics team, ensuring strategic alignment
- Deliver high-quality Epic training sessions to clinical and non-clinical staff alike as needed
- Meticulously operate and manage program logistics
- Engage large, distributed stakeholder groups and manage complex relationships
- Facilitate training sessions and provide ongoing support to ensure all staff receive effective Epic training
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in program coordination, program management, or project management (preferably within healthcare or IT)
- Demonstrated experience in training facilitation or classroom instruction
- Proven experience coordinating logistics for training, adoption, or support programming
- Experience executing programs that engage large, distributed stakeholder groups
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex relationships and serve as a full-time liaison between large enterprise teams
- Exceptional attention to detail with clear, professional verbal and written communication skills focused on coordination and information delivery
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this role. Must perform any additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager, including remote workspace coordination and potential travel requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5-8 years of relevant work experience
