Responsibilities

  • Implement global EHS strategy to mitigate risks for operations and stakeholders
  • Develop and execute annual site-specific EHS plans with operation leaders
  • Support and provide expertise during regulatory inquiries and significant incidents
  • Conduct operation-specific EHS hazard assessments and develop risk mitigation plans
  • Affirm compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Analyze EHS metrics to foster continuous improvement initiatives
  • Educate and coach management on EHS responsibilities while promoting diversity

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred
  • Advanced degree and/or professional certifications (CSP, CIH, CHMM, CPP, PSP, etc.) preferred
  • 7+ years of experience managing EHS across multiple operations preferred
  • Experience in distribution environments strongly preferred
  • Leadership experience managing a team of EHS professionals preferred
  • Strong understanding of EHS regulations from Federal and State agencies, including OSHA and EPA
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-directed and able to multitask effectively
