Responsibilities
- Implement global EHS strategy to mitigate risks for operations and stakeholders
- Develop and execute annual site-specific EHS plans with operation leaders
- Support and provide expertise during regulatory inquiries and significant incidents
- Conduct operation-specific EHS hazard assessments and develop risk mitigation plans
- Affirm compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Analyze EHS metrics to foster continuous improvement initiatives
- Educate and coach management on EHS responsibilities while promoting diversity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred
- Advanced degree and/or professional certifications (CSP, CIH, CHMM, CPP, PSP, etc.) preferred
- 7+ years of experience managing EHS across multiple operations preferred
- Experience in distribution environments strongly preferred
- Leadership experience managing a team of EHS professionals preferred
- Strong understanding of EHS regulations from Federal and State agencies, including OSHA and EPA
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Self-directed and able to multitask effectively
