About Our Global Engineering Sciences Team

As part of our expanding Global Engineering and Scientific consulting team, you will work at the forefront of today’s most complex engineering challenges. You will be engaged in analyzing failures of a myriad of products from a variety of industries, including automotive, construction, consumer products, consumer electronics, and medical devices. Secretariat leverages our diverse technical expertise and industry knowledge to provide clients with world-class value, identifying solutions that drive performance and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Attract and win new business opportunities for Secretariat in both expert witness and strategic consulting roles
  • Contribute to the growth of Secretariat’s Electrical Engineering practice by recruiting talented staff
  • Mentor and drive the growth of Electrical Engineering staff
  • Provide project management and project budget oversight

Qualifications

  • Established track record for business development and existing client base
  • PhD or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science & Engineering
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Experience with power electronics, industrial process control, consumer products, circuit analysis, or control systems (a plus)
  • Ability to travel globally as needed
  • Ability to work odd hours to adjust to global client needs
  • Strong report writing skills to complement analytics
  • Able to quickly assimilate relevant information in unfamiliar situations and develop creative approaches and solutions necessary to resolve complex problems
  • Ability to manage and prioritize your time and your team’s time, potentially against a backdrop of competing deadlines

Pay

$135,000—$160,000 USD. Compensation for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, and location.
