The Opportunity
As the Manager, DXP / AXP Technology Infrastructure, you will lead the technology strategy, architecture, and infrastructure supporting the consumer warranty underwriting program. As a successful candidate, you will oversee core systems, data platforms, cloud infrastructure, API integrations, cybersecurity controls, and reporting capabilities to support scalability, compliance, and business growth.
You will also partner with internal teams, LGCNS, and external vendors to ensure secure data exchange, effective system performance, and alignment with underwriting profitability, operational efficiency, and long-term business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, enhancement, and ongoing support of technology platforms for the Consumer Warranty Underwriting Program, including systems for policy administration, underwriting, claims, customer service, reporting, and analytics.
- Establish technology standards, system requirements, testing processes, and deployment plans to ensure platforms support business growth, transaction volume, new product offerings, and operational performance.
- Manage data governance, reporting, dashboards, and analytics capabilities to ensure accurate underwriting, claims, customer, financial, and operational data, while providing visibility into key metrics such as claim costs, loss ratios, profitability, and customer trends.
- Oversee system integrations and secure data exchange between LG, LGCNS, Assurant, service providers, retailers, manufacturers, payment processors, vendors, and other third-party partners.
- Maintain technology security, compliance, user access controls, disaster recovery, business continuity, vulnerability remediation, and adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, privacy standards, and Technology SOW obligations.
- Manage technology project plans, budgets, timelines, vendor relationships, service levels, contractual obligations, risk mitigation, and cross-functional coordination across business, technology, and vendor teams.
- Serve as the primary technology owner for the Consumer Warranty Underwriting Program, ensuring all platforms, vendors, integrations, and processes remain reliable, scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
Education / Experience (Requirements)
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Business Information Technology.
- MBA or master’s degree in related field preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible marketing and operational roles in digital marketing and customer engagement strategies in either the home or consumer product warranty industry.
- Comprehensive experience in building customer portals & mobile apps, integration of AI chatbots and predictive tools, and full channel omnichannel engagement preferred.
- Minimal travel required – less than 10% of the time.
