For our client, a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space, we are seeking a Manager Distinguished Engineer to lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. This role involves working across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions, influencing architecture, execution quality, and long-term technology capabilities.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Ensure every DGX platform is ready for the full company software stack, delivering production-quality products.
- Lead the development of the manageability firmware stack for all DGX platforms, integrating firmware from partner teams.
- Define validation strategies proving production readiness including performance and reliability testing.
- Drive platform bring-up for new DGX systems, coordinating across various teams and components.
- Ensure firmware release flows meet customer deployment requirements and represent platform readiness in high-level discussions.
- Own the complete delivery lifecycle of DGX products, from architecture to customer deployment.
- Serve as the single point of accountability for DGX platform readiness across various technical teams.
Qualifications
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years overall in systems firmware/software engineering; 5+ years in engineering leadership.
- Deep expertise in server system stack including SBIOS, BMC, OS, and applications.
- Proven track record delivering multi-generation server or data center platforms from architecture to deployment.
- Experience managing engineering organizations across multiple geographies in a matrix environment.
- Strong understanding of server hardware components like CPU, GPU, and memory.
- Experience owning the end-to-end product quality from validation to deployment.
Pay
$320,000 – $488,750 annually.
