About the role

This position will lead maintenance and support for tax reporting and compliance technology applications (e.g., Longview provision, CorpTax compliance) and related upstream/downstream data flows. The role also supports targeted implementation/configuration work, process improvements and data analytics initiatives for the Tax Department, including building governed Copilot and AI-enabled workflows (e.g., prompt libraries, document summarization, drafting support, and automation prototypes) in partnership with IT and Tax stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and support for corporate tax applications:
    • Longview Tax Provision administration (i.e. rollover, security, input templates, deliver prioritized enhancements and configuration changes)
    • CorpTax administration (i.e. Federal, State, International, Planner, Office; compliance cycle support, streamline workflows, reporting, and data quality)
    • Support related tax and finance applications and ERP touchpoints (e.g., indirect tax engines/workflows, interfaces, master data impacts) by triaging issues, coordinating fixes with IT, and validating end-to-end data integrity.
    • Maintain and improve Excel-based tax tools (models, templates, and reconciliations), including controls and analytics to support close and compliance cycles.
    • Support Oracle HFM inputs/outputs used by Tax (e.g., extracts, reconciliations, and tie-outs) and coordinate data issues with Finance/IT as needed.
    • Develop and maintain tax data analytics (e.g., Power BI reporting, exception monitoring, and recurring reconciliations); expand automation to reduce manual effort and improve close predictability.
    • Document standard work (process flows, and control checklists) for key tax technology processes and recurring cycles.
    • Coordinate and train offshore team members on procedures, issue triage, and quality expectations; review work products for accuracy and completeness.
    • Build and maintain governed Copilot/AI-enabled workflows for Tax (e.g., prompt templates, drafting/summarization aids, and low-risk automations) in partnership with IT and control owners.
  • Identify and implement technology best practices that reduce manual effort, strengthen controls, and improve data quality across tax processes.
  • Partner with Corporate Tax, business units, Accounting, IT, and external consultants to deliver technology changes (enhancements, integrations, and reporting) for the Tax Department.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Finance, Tax, or Accounting
  • 5+ years of tax technology experience
  • 5+ years’ experience with system support responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience administering and configuring tax solutions (CorpTax, Longview, and/or data analytics) preferred
  • Use of AI tools in a tax setting is a plus
  • Use of Power BI to create reports
  • Strong project management and analytical skills
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management
  • Able to lead teams and have the ability to manage complex processes and issues

Pay Range

The annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.

Other Compensation

This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
