About the Role

Werfen is seeking a professional to join our team in a role that contributes to our mission of providing healthcare professionals with valuable and complete diagnostic solutions. This position supports our commitment to innovation and quality across our specialized diagnostics areas, including Hemostasis, Acute Care Diagnostics, Transfusion, Autoimmunity, and Transplant, as well as our OEM business line which develops customized assays and biomaterials.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of strategies aligned with Werfen's diagnostic product portfolio
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance research, development, and manufacturing processes
• Ensure quality standards are maintained in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across assigned projects or operational areas
• Engage with internal stakeholders to drive efficiency and enhance product solutions

Requirements

• Proven experience in a relevant field within diagnostics, life sciences, or medical devices
• Strong understanding of regulatory and quality frameworks applicable to in-vitro diagnostics
• Ability to work effectively in a global, matrixed organization
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant professional experience
• Familiarity with one or more of Werfen's core diagnostic areas (Hemostasis, Acute Care, Transfusion, Autoimmunity, or Transplant) is a plus
• Experience with OEM or custom assay development is beneficial
