Manager, DevOps & Cloud Platform

For a leader in the Finance & Insurance space, we are seeking a Manager of DevOps & Cloud Platform to lead technical work focused on cloud-enabled scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence. You will collaborate across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. This role offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a regulated financial services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps/cloud engineers
• Foster collaboration and continuous learning culture
• Oversee CI/CD standardization for Java, .NET, and Node.js
• Drive adoption of the Internal Developer Portal
• Guide infrastructure as code standards using Terraform
• Implement DevSecOps practices in pipelines
• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives for automation tools

Qualifications

• 8+ years in DevOps, cloud, or platform engineering
• 2+ years in a leadership role managing teams
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools like Harness and Jenkins
• Extensive experience in Terraform and infrastructure as code
• Hands-on architecture and operations experience with AWS and Azure
• Familiarity with programming languages: Java, Node.js, Python, Unix shell
• Proficient in Kubernetes and container technologies

Pay

$161,000 – $220,440 annually
