Manager, Design Assurance

About the role

This role will lead continuous improvement work focused on process discipline, productivity, and measurable operating gains. You will partner with operational leaders and project stakeholders to standardize workflows, identify bottlenecks, and improve execution quality. The position offers the opportunity to create measurable efficiency gains and scalable operational improvements within a consumer-facing environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Serve as the quality expert on new product development teams
• Integrate quality requirements throughout the product development lifecycle
• Support design control and phase-gate processes from concept to commercialization
• Develop and maintain best practice quality planning tools and methods
• Ensure effective risk management activities like DFMEA and PFMEA
• Challenge specifications and drive quality into design
• Monitor quality metrics during development builds and launches

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related technical discipline
• 5+ years' experience in quality engineering and design assurance
• Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies
• Experience in cross-functional product development environments
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in highly controlled industries
• Certifications in quality engineering or Lean Six Sigma

Pay

$95,600 – $153,900 annually
