About The Role
As Demand Planning Manager, North America you will own and ensure a rolling 18+ month forecast is developed, reviewed, published, and adjusted as needed by partnering with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain. You will be responsible for the total Professional Business Unit forecast, with support from the Associate Manager, Demand Planning North America. You will own and lead Demand Review in monthly S&OP and drive continuous improvements in both S&OP and S&OE processes end to end.
Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for 18+ month Demand Plan for North America
- Drive continuous improvement in Demand Planning through creation and implementation of reporting and analytics that will drive efficiencies in our planning processes
- Review, validate, and present the demand plan in cross-functional forums such as pre-sign-off and sign-off meetings (S&OP meetings)
- Summarize and report key forecast changes and concise drivers of forecast accuracy performance to Supply Chain Leadership
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain leadership to drive business initiatives as part of the SCJP Strategic Plan
- Own MAPE and BIAS metrics for North America and drive continuous improvement against forecast accuracy
- Conduct root cause analysis of forecast errors and identify corrective actions, leading the Demand Planning Team to deliver KPI targets
- Work with cross-functional partners on projects such as new product launches, obsolescence, and transitions to evaluate assumptions – new product forecast, pipeline fill, and cannibalization
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and 7 + years Demand Planning, Supply Chain, OR Finance experience within a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or Manufacturing environment
- Or Masters Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience
