This role supports the full scope of the Data & Reporting function — including Salesforce CRM maintenance, partner analytics and reporting, data integrity, and stakeholder responsiveness.
Responsibilities
- Data Management & CRM Operations
- In collaboration with the Assistant Director, Data & Reporting, maintain the integrity and accuracy of corporate partner and participant data in Salesforce, including populating, updating, and auditing records to ensure consistency across all partner and program data fields.
- Oversee workflows, governance protocols, and data standards in Salesforce that support accurate and auditable partner contribution tracking, participant records, and engagement history.
- Partner with the Finance team and the Assistant Director, Data & Reporting to manage the partner contribution lifecycle, tracking pledge and invoice status, flagging outstanding items, and assisting with reconciliation of contribution data.
- Ensure alignment of data across integrated technology platforms, supporting data flow and integration between Salesforce, Tableau, Monday.com, and other systems used by the Operations team.
- Conduct regular data audits and clean-up activities to identify and resolve inconsistencies, duplicates, or gaps across program and partner data sets.
- Reporting & Analytics Support
- Build and maintain Tableau dashboards and recurring reports that track partner health, participant engagement, placement outcomes, and contribution pipeline — ensuring data is current and displays accurately.
- Prepare ad hoc data pulls, analysis, and reports in response to requests from senior leaders and cross-functional teams, ensuring accuracy and appropriate urgency in all deliverables.
- Compile and organize data on partner engagement metrics — including communication responsiveness, event participation, intern placement rates, and full-time conversion — that feed into partner health scorecard and performance reporting.
- Monitor and flag data anomalies, reporting discrepancies, or incomplete records to the Assistant Director for timely resolution.
- Operations & Project Support
- Serve as a flexible resource for priority workstreams across the broader Ops team by leading cross-functional Operations team projects and initiatives as assigned by the Director, Operations, Data & Reporting.
- Create and maintain project tracking tools in Monday.com, including building and updating boards to monitor operational initiatives, data requests, and stakeholder engagement across the team.
- Provide shared inbox coverage and respond to inquiries from SEO Career & Alternative Investments participants, program staff, and partners as needed, routing requests to the appropriate team member in a timely manner.
- Support participant enrollment and system tracking, including enrolling participants in relevant platforms and monitoring progression through program stages — as directed by the Assistant Director or Director.
- Aid in event data tracking and operational logistics for SEO Career & Alternative Investments events, including data entry, participant list management, and post-event data reconciliation.
- Support administrative and financial processes as needed, including payment requests, expense documentation, and other operational support tasks.
- Perform other assigned duties in support of Operations team goals and the overall mission of the organization, including special projects, data clean-up, and special population management.
- Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 2-4 years of professional experience in operations, data management, program coordination, or a related field; experience in nonprofit or educational settings a plus.
- Experience working with Salesforce CRM required; familiarity with Tableau, Monday.com, or comparable reporting and project management tools strongly preferred.
- Passion for SEO's Mission: A deep curiosity and awareness of the barriers to entry and obstacles for pre-professionals launching careers in Corporate America, and a genuine dedication to closing opportunity gaps.
- Data Accuracy & Attention to Detail: Meticulous in data entry, record maintenance, and reporting; understands that data integrity is the foundation of sound decision-making and takes pride in maintaining high standards across all systems and outputs.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS365, Box, and Monday.com; experience with Salesforce CRM and Tableau required; adept at learning new systems and tools quickly. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills preferred.

- Initiative & Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying what needs to get done, flagging issues before they become problems, and bringing a solution-oriented mindset to operational and data challenges.
- Project Management: Comfortable managing multiple tasks and tracking deliverables across concurrent workstreams; able to build and maintain project tracking tools and keep work moving forward on schedule.
- Communication: Practiced written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; able to engage clearly and professionally with colleagues, participants, and partners across different mediums including email, messaging platforms, and in-person interactions.
