Manager, Data Engineering

About the role

Responsible for leading data engineering initiatives that drive business outcomes through advanced analytics and machine learning solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data pipelines using Azure services
• Design and optimize database schemas for high performance and scalability
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Ensure data quality and integrity through automated testing and validation processes
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of data governance policies and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field
• Experience with Azure data services and tools such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and database management systems
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and other relevant programming languages
• Experience with cloud-based data storage and processing platforms
