Summary
The CT Manager is a healthcare professional responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the CT department. This role ensures that CT services are delivered efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards. The CT Manager performs all duties necessary to work in areas of responsibility with decision-making ability to make independent judgments. The CT Manager assures appropriate patient care management and adjusts daily operations to meet the needs of a changing working environment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate exemplary leadership, verbal and written skills.
- Ensure efficient and safe delivery of CT services in compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Perform all duties necessary to work in areas of responsibility with decision-making ability to make independent judgments.
- Assure appropriate patient care management and adjust daily operations to meet the needs of a changing working environment.
- Collaborate with the Anesthesia department and child life specialists to provide the Ambient Experience, which helps to reduce patient anxiety.
Requirements
- Educational: Associates Degree in Radiology; Nonessential: Bachelors degree in Radiology or other health-related field.
- Experience: 5 years' work experience in CT; 1 year of supervisory or management experience.
- Credentials: Registered Radiology Technologist and CT Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); Nonessential: ARRT registered in another imaging modality.
- Essential: Credentials with Equivalent Qualifications: Registered Radiology Technologist; Nonessential: Registered CT Technologist or Registered MRI Technologist.
- Experience: 5 Years job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Imaging Diagnostic CT.
Qualifications
- Education: Associates Degree in Radiology Technology; Nonessential: Bachelors of Science or Arts in Radiology Technology.
- Experience: 5 Years job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Imaging Diagnostic CT.
