Manager, Cross-Border & FX Payments

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Manager, Cross-Border & FX Payments to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will own the strategy and execution for cross-border payments and FX, turning it into measurable commercial outcomes. You will help scale customer adoption, refine pricing and unit economics, and strengthen the overall performance of an important growth area. The position partners closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Compliance, and external financial partners to deliver a stronger customer experience and operational results. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Own execution of the cross-border and FX strategy, translating it into initiatives and measurable outcomes
• Drive commercialization and customer adoption of FX capabilities in partnership with cross-functional teams
• Continuously improve FX pricing and economics by analyzing transaction data and market trends
• Shape the cross-border and FX product roadmap through collaboration with Product and Engineering teams
• Manage relationships with key banking and payment partners, ensuring effective performance and service levels
• Lead cross-functional execution across various teams, influencing outcomes without direct authority
• Utilize data and customer insights to enhance business performance and inform senior leadership decisions

Qualifications

• Significant experience in cross-border payments, foreign exchange, treasury, transaction banking, fintech, or payment infrastructure
• Deep understanding of international payment processes, including liquidity management and FX conversion
• Experience in developing, scaling, or commercializing payment or FX products within fintech or banking environments
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical capabilities, including ownership of revenue targets and assessment of product performance
• Prior experience influencing product roadmaps in partnership with Product and Engineering teams
• Proven ability to manage strategic partnerships in financial services, including performance and economics evaluation
• Strong grasp of regulatory and risk considerations related to cross-border payments

Pay

$110,000 – $130,000 annually
