Manager, Corporate FP&A - Consolidation
Who You Are
Metropolis is seeking a Manager, Corporate FP&A - Consolidation to lead the orchestration of our corporate reporting cycle and the compilation, validation, and communication of global financial results. You will own the "last mile" of finance, taking raw data from various business units and refining it into a clear, unified narrative for executive leadership.
You are a process-oriented leader who ensures seamless hand-offs between accounting and FP&A to deliver accurate, consistent, and strategic reporting outputs.
What You'll Do
- Design and manage the Corporate Reporting Calendar, coordinating timelines across global business units, accounting, and tax to ensure a synchronized close
- Standardize reporting templates and submission protocols to ensure one version of the truth across the enterprise
- Act as the primary liaison between the Controllership and FP&A teams to reconcile management reporting with statutory filings
- Agregate inputs from multiple P&L owners into a consolidated corporate view, ensuring all intercompany eliminations and corporate adjustments are accurately reflected
- Perform high-level integrity checks on consolidated data to identify anomalies before results reach the CFO
- Manage the Bridge analysis, explaining the drivers of variance between Actuals, Budgets, and prior Forecasts at an enterprise level
- Lead the assembly of the Monthly Executive Reporting Package and Board of Directors presentations
- Synthesize qualitative commentary from various departments into a concise summary of business performance, risks, and opportunities
- Partner with Investor Relations to provide data and context for earnings call preparation and external guidance
- Evaluate the current reporting workflow to identify bottlenecks and implement lean finance practices to shorten the reporting cycle; define and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the consolidation process to ensure business continuity and scalability
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Corporate FP&A, with a heavy emphasis on multi-entity consolidation and management reporting
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder workflows under tight deadlines
- Take vast amounts of data and extract the most important takeaways for an executive audience
- An exceptional "perfectionist" approach to data—ensuring that every total, sub-total, and footnote ties out perfectly across all decks
- Exceptional written communication skills for drafting executive summaries and board-level commentary
- Experience leveraging AI tools to transform static workflows into responsive, high-output processes
Pay
The anticipated base salary for this position is $135,000.00 USD to $155,000.00 USD annually. The actual base salary offered is determined by a number of variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location of residence and/or place of employment.
