How We Do Deals
- Sources great companies through original work, including market mapping, target research, and tracking across priority states.
- Builds and manages the acquisition pipeline, including sourcing directly through outbound campaigns, industry conferences, trade associations, and broker and banker relationships.
- Leads valuation and underwriting, including financial models, quality of earnings analysis, EBITDA adjustments, and returns analysis against deal criteria.
- Supports letter of intent negotiation and deal structuring alongside the CEO, CFO, and the American Securities team.
- Manages due diligence end to end, coordinating departmental workstreams through the diligence request list to keep the transaction on schedule.
- Prepares investment memos and approval materials for executive leadership and the board.
- Drives the handoff to integration and tracks post-close performance against the deal model.
What You'll Actually Do

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, or similar role.
- Experience in the community association management industry is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to develop financial models.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
