How We Do Deals

  • Sources great companies through original work, including market mapping, target research, and tracking across priority states.
  • Builds and manages the acquisition pipeline, including sourcing directly through outbound campaigns, industry conferences, trade associations, and broker and banker relationships.
  • Leads valuation and underwriting, including financial models, quality of earnings analysis, EBITDA adjustments, and returns analysis against deal criteria.
  • Supports letter of intent negotiation and deal structuring alongside the CEO, CFO, and the American Securities team.
  • Manages due diligence end to end, coordinating departmental workstreams through the diligence request list to keep the transaction on schedule.
  • Prepares investment memos and approval materials for executive leadership and the board.
  • Drives the handoff to integration and tracks post-close performance against the deal model.

What You'll Actually Do

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, or similar role.
  • Experience in the community association management industry is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to develop financial models.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
