Manager, Corporate Accounting

For our client, a leader in the Finance & Insurance space, we are seeking a Manager of Corporate Accounting to support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. This position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop corporate accounting team and oversee external consultants
• Identify and resolve technical accounting issues with minimal oversight
• Develop and monitor internal controls for GAAP compliance
• Lead preparation and presentation of financial statements on scheduled basis
• Oversee corporate accounts receivable and payable processes
• Set and enforce accounting best practices across corporate accounting
• Continuously improve accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy
• Lead the corporate accounting audit process and resolve open items
• Collaborate with finance team and other departments to provide financial insights
• Stay current with accounting standards and share knowledge with team

Qualifications

• 8+ years of corporate accounting experience
• Experience managing and developing accounting team members
• Ability to work in a remote, fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive mindset
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Experience in technical accounting research and application
• Strong knowledge of internal controls

Pay

$130,000 – $145,000 annually
