About the Role

Under the supervision of the SVP of Purchasing, the Manager of Contract Administration will coordinate and review all contracts as they flow between the gaming properties, Seminole Hard Rock Support Services, and Hard Rock International. The employee may also have direct contact with suppliers/vendors during the contract review process.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino policies and procedures.
  • Produce periodic contract reporting.
  • Complete timely processing of contracts.
  • Coordinate information flow with supporting departments.
  • Manage multiple tasks while adhering to strict reporting deadlines.
  • Maintain current knowledge of and adhere to contract procedures, guidelines, and standards.
  • Promote positive public/employee relations at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
  • Conduct themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Areas of Contract Administration

  • Author and negotiate revisions to conform to standard Seminole Tribe of Florida terms and conditions.
  • Communications management.
  • Contract visibility and awareness.
  • Document management and tracking.
  • Property/administration level document compliance.

Requirements

  • Associate in Arts/Science degree in a related field required, plus more than 5 years of legal-related experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
  • Proficiency with computer systems; experience with a contract tracking system is a plus.

Work Environment

Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a professional office setting, but there may be times when you will need to be in operating areas. In these areas, you may be exposed to environmental factors including, but not limited to, secondhand smoke and excessive noise.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to:

  • Stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
  • Reach with hands and arms, talk, or hear.
  • Taste or smell.
  • Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
