About the role
Managers at JMAN Group are the driving force for delivery in the business. They work hand in hand with Principals and delivery teams across multiple projects. Their focus is on quality and excellence, in project planning, delivery, and client relationship management. They help clients deliver results against complex business challenges, adapting to various roles as needed.
Responsibilities
Business strategy: Aware of and understands JMAN’s aims, values, and strategy, and delivers strategic aims and objectives.
Business development: Pursues upsell and cross-sell opportunities, shares intelligence with the Principal, and works to extend client engagements and build relationships with client stakeholders.
Client management: Establishes collaborative partnerships with client stakeholders, assesses and recommends commercial and technical solutions, monitors client satisfaction, and leads key meetings with clients.
Project delivery: Makes things happen, ensures operational excellence on every project, anticipates potential issues and dependencies, manages scope change/creep, tracks budgeting, produces invoices, coordinates work streams, coaches team members, and acts as a key support for concerns.
People and leadership: Leads by example, provides inspiration, clarity, and guidance to project teams, maintains a supportive work environment, gives constructive feedback, sets challenging targets, supports consultants with managing junior members, and owns the management of team members across multiple projects.
Consultancy mindset and core competencies: Operates with a consulting mindset, prioritizes effectively across multiple projects, adapts to shifting business needs, uses management techniques, procedures, and tools, influences others, demonstrates technical capability, and innovates.
Qualifications
Experience in data engineering, data science, or related fields.
Proven track record in project management and delivery.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Technical acumen and understanding of the digital marketplace.
Ability to innovate and leverage technology.
