Job Summary

As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for defining project scope, coordinating project teams, and managing resources to ensure telecommunications construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. You will oversee project planning, workflow optimization, reporting, and customer communication. Success in this role means driving operational efficiency, maintaining strong client relationships, and delivering high-quality project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams, vendors, and contractors within assigned markets
  • Manage project schedules, capacity, production goals, and cycle time expectations
  • Conduct internal meetings to review project status and implement workflow improvements
  • Attend customer meetings, provide project updates, and resolve conflicts or issues
  • Maintain accurate project tracking systems and reporting documentation
  • Develop and improve processes to streamline workflows and improve project quality
  • Retrieve, analyze, and report project data to support business intelligence and decision-making
  • Additional responsibilities within functional scope based on business needs

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience
  • Experience managing large telecommunications construction projects end-to-end
  • Experience with Outside Plant (OSP) and Inside Plant (ISP) project execution

Skills and Abilities

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, Visio, and Google Earth
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service and relationship management abilities
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
  • PMP certification
  • Civil construction and/or telecommunications construction background
  • Experience with FTTx and Small Cell deployments
  • Experience managing relationships with municipalities, government officials, and clients

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in office and field environments as needed
  • Ability to sit, stand, and use computer equipment for extended periods
  • Ability to travel to job sites and customer meetings as required
