Manager, Compliance (Governance)

For a leader in the Finance & Insurance space, this role provides business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations, strengthening responsible execution, improving decision-making, and supporting sustainable growth within a regulated financial services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Support and develop the compliance governance framework, including policies and committee structures
• Prepare materials for compliance and risk governance meetings
• Conduct the annual risk assessment for AML and Sanctions compliance
• Identify and implement AI solutions to improve complaint management and governance reporting
• Oversee the AML quality assurance program and develop risk-based testing plans
• Manage the regulatory customer complaint program from intake to reporting
• Analyze complaint trends and present findings to compliance leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; J.D. or relevant advanced degree preferred
• 6+ years of compliance experience, specifically in complaints handling or second-line testing
• Strong understanding of BSA/AML and Sanctions compliance regulations
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience engaging senior stakeholders
• Familiarity with AI tools in compliance processes, demonstrating sound judgment with sensitive data

Pay

$129,500 – $185,000 annually
