Manager, Claims Operations - Auto Claims Complex

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Manager, Claims Operations - Auto Claims Complex to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will lead complex auto claims operations with a strong focus on team coaching, file quality, and consistent decision-making. The manager will help drive operational effectiveness, improve member experiences, and support change initiatives across the claims environment. This position also partners closely with employees and operational leaders to balance workload, maintain process adherence, and resolve escalations in a regulated setting.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Inspect and review claim files, providing feedback to employees
• Coach employees to align their contributions with claims strategies
• Identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness and member experiences
• Remove obstacles and lead change initiatives
• Manage workload volumes and staffing to achieve productivity goals
• Monitor work for consistent process execution and adherence to guidelines
• Handle escalations and make policy-based decisions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant education/experience
• 6 years of customer service or operational experience, including 2 years in claims handling
• 2 years of supervisory or management experience
• Experience using data for decision-making
• Demonstrated leadership and customer service skills
• Must obtain an insurance adjuster license within 6 months of starting
