Manager, Claims Operations- APD Field/Remote

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Manager, Claims Operations- APD Field/Remote to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will lead day-to-day claims operations with a focus on quality, consistency, and effective decision-making across a remote field environment. The manager will coach team members, remove operational barriers, and help drive stronger member experience and process performance. This position also partners closely with leadership to manage workload, support training needs, and improve overall claims execution.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and review claim files for quality and provide feedback
• Coach employees to understand their contributions to overall strategies
• Identify opportunities for improving operational effectiveness and member experience
• Remove obstacles to create conditions for team success
• Manage workload volumes and staff training needs
• Monitor work for process consistency and adherence to guidelines
• Handle escalated claims and make decisions per policy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant education/experience
• 6 years in customer service or operational roles, including 2 years in claims handling
• 2 years of team lead or supervisory experience
• Ability to use data for decision-making
• Demonstrated leadership and customer service skills
• Must acquire insurance adjuster license within 6 months

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $103,450 – $191,970 annually
