FanDuel is seeking a Manager, Campaign Analytics to measure and optimize the effectiveness of Sportsbook promotional (generosity) spend. This role combines advanced analytics, performance measurement, and cross-functional partnership to generate insights and recommendations that improve campaign ROI and enhance transparency into the true impact of our generosity investments.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Executive-level reporting that serves as the single source of truth for campaign performance and generosity spend, providing stakeholders with clear visibility into results.
  • Through exploratory analysis, subject matter expertise, and innovative thinking, identify opportunities and propose hypotheses to optimize campaign performance.
  • Generate insights and recommendations for cross-functional partners that maximize the value delivered through customer promotions.
  • Develop a deep understanding of how we distribute generosity, both strategically and operationally, and how we experiment to advance our understanding of the impact of our generosity spend.
  • Act as a thought partner and collaborate closely with Generosity Data Science and other teams to evolve how we measure, assess, and communicate the effectiveness of generosity spend.
  • Deepen understanding of customer behavior, efficiency of promotions, and the key drivers of campaign performance.
  • Demonstrate accurate insights using easy-to-interpret visualizations and clear explanations of results, recommendations, methods, biases, and limitations.
  • Leverage AI to accelerate and enhance your work, ensuring high integrity, managing AI risk of error, and maintaining excellent understanding of AI output to avoid blind trust.
  • Plan and manage project timelines with precision, ensuring detailed accuracy and consistent coordination with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to effectively identify areas for improvement and support their strategic objectives.
  • Take responsibility to learn the necessary skills and techniques to work with independence, integrity, and accuracy.
  • Assist in the training and development of junior team members.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years of previous Analytics Experience.
  • Expert in SQL and comprehensive experience manipulating large datasets in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong data-driven storytelling and data visualization skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of at least one data visualization tool (Tableau is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of at least one statistical or programming language (Python is ideal).
  • Undergraduate degree in a numerate or technical discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • Knowledge of sports is a plus.
  • Interest or experience in the Sports betting industry is an advantage.

Pay

The applicable salary range for this position is $149,000 - $186,000 USD, dependent on relevant experience, location, business needs, and market demand.
