The Role

The CompanyMedely is building the infrastructure layer for healthcare staffing - a marketplace that connects thousands of healthcare professionals with facilities that need them, in real time. This role requires a Manager of Business Intelligence who is both analytically rigorous and business-savvy. You'll lead a BI Analyst, own the BI roadmap, and work closely with the VP of Financial Operations and cross-functional leadership to translate data into actionable insights.

Who You Are

  • A minimum of 5 years in analytics, business intelligence, data science, or a related field - with at least one year managing a direct report
  • Advanced SQL skills, including writing clean, optimized queries and understanding underlying systems
  • Strong proficiency in a BI tool (Tableau, Power BI, or similar) and a solid grasp of what makes a dashboard useful
  • Experience with Python or another scripting language for data manipulation and workflow automation
  • Experience structuring ambiguous problems and communicating findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Comfort with experimentation, designing tests, reading results, and explaining their implications
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and a willingness to apply them to real analytics problems
  • A bias toward ownership - you take initiative and figure out what matters

Why This Role, Why Now

Medely is at a stage where the analytical infrastructure built in the next 12-18 months will shape how we scale for years. This role offers real scope - a platform to own, a leadership team eager for data-informed decisions, and a business complex enough to keep you intellectually engaged for a long time. You'll have ownership, visibility, and work that actually matters.
