Job Overview

THE·TEAM’s Brands division is seeking a motivated individual to join one of our priority client account teams, leading the day-to-day management of select NBA partnerships and supporting broader strategic initiatives across the NBA vertical.

What You'll Do

  • Contributes to the development of partnership strategies, programs, and long-term initiatives that support client objectives and priorities within the NBA vertical.
  • Led the planning, coordination, fulfillment, and execution of partnership assets and deliverables, including logistics, timelines, budgets, stakeholder approvals, and post-activation reporting.
  • Manages relationships and workflows with clients, partners, third-party vendors, agencies, and internal stakeholders to support seamless program delivery.
  • Maintains project plans, status reports, timelines, and approval processes, and tracks program spending against approved budgets.
  • Supports audience, demographic, industry, and performance research to inform partnership strategy, activation concepts, and client recommendations.
  • Develops clear presentations, reports, and other client-facing materials in collaboration with internal team members.
  • Learns and manages project-management platforms and legal review processes to facilitate the creation, routing, and approval of project documents.
  • Maintains a strong understanding of the client’s products, services, business priorities, and partnership objectives and communicates them effectively to current and prospective partners.
  • Builds trusted client and partner relationships through proactive communication, responsive service, and a strong understanding of business and partnership objectives to support new and repeat business opportunities.
  • Makes sure to monitor developments across sports, entertainment, media, and culture to identify relevant trends, opportunities, and implications for clients.
  • Provides additional account support as needed, including research, reporting, material development, talent identification, and special projects.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Four or more years of relevant experience, including at least two years of direct account and project management experience.
  • Experience in the sports or entertainment industry is preferred.
  • Current knowledge of the sports and entertainment landscape, particularly the NBA, with a strong understanding of cultural trends and emerging developments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work confidently with numbers and translate large amounts of data into clear, accessible insights.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to think creatively and contribute effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Flexible, team-oriented, and able to remain calm and effective under pressure.

Base Salary Range

Base salary range: $70-72K, plus bonus potential if applicable for role. Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc.
