Manager, Biosciences Study Lead
About the role
The Manager - Biosciences Study Lead provides leadership for a team of study leads supporting bioanalytical studies and customer deliverables. This role manages team performance, strengthens study execution practices, and serves as a domain expert for study leadership activities in a regulated study environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a team of study leads, including team meetings, performance reviews, work direction, coaching, and employee relations support
- Provide oversight for assigned projects throughout the project lifecycle, including method development, method validation, sample analysis, reporting, and archiving
- Serve as an authoritative resource on study lead procedures, techniques, and study execution expectations
- Partner with Technical Writing, QA, Project Management, laboratory teams, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on schedule and in accordance with scientific and regulatory standards
- Monitor project progress, provide regular status updates to management, participate in scheduling and revenue update meetings, and escalate risks when work falls behind schedule
- Support communications with external customers, help resolve issues, host customer visits, and contribute to scientific and business discussions
- Lead or support investigations, troubleshooting activities, corrective and preventative action plans, and process improvement initiatives
- Manage staff in accordance with organizational policies, applicable regulations, safety standards, discipline guidelines, and compliance requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 7 years’ related experience
- Experience in a GLP laboratory environment, including regulated bioanalytical study execution
- Understanding of liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry, or in vitro and immunoassay techniques
- Experience with sample extraction, routine laboratory procedures, method development, and assay validation

Pay
The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $80,200.00 - $167,200.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
Schedule
This role is available on a hybrid schedule, allowing you to split your time between home and the office.
