About the role
The Manager of Behavioral Health for Acute Psychiatry Services oversees operational coordination and staffing support for hospital-based behavioral health clinicians providing Inpatient Psychiatry and Psychiatric Consultation services.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key liaison between PMG NW Behavioral Health, PRMCE operational leadership, and clinical medical leadership to support consistent workflows, clinician engagement, coverage planning, onboarding, productivity monitoring, and overall day-to-day operational stability.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field, or equivalent educ/experience
- Washington Mental Health Counselor License, or Washington Marriage and Family Therapist License, or Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker License upon hire
- 5 years clinical experience in area of clinical specialty
- 3 years clinical supervisory, management or resource experience in the assigned technical or professional area or equivalent relevant experience
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in acute psychiatry settings
- Leadership experience in healthcare settings
- Knowledge of behavioral health best practices
Skills
Negotiation skills, excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams are required.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Schedule
This role is full-time and works on a day shift.
