About the role
The B2B event marketing team is looking for a strategic and results-driven Marketing Manager to own and scale the events channel. Events are strategic levers for growth, activation, and relationship building. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, shaping how events drive measurable business impact at scale through strategic planning, stakeholder orchestration, and building scalable frameworks that elevate events into a measurable business growth engine.
We are looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, builds clarity through frameworks, and can lead complex cross-functional initiatives with discipline and influence, earning strong stakeholder trust and executive confidence. Traditional event production experience is not a prerequisite; backgrounds in consulting, strategy, PMO, or business operations in high-growth environments are highly valued.
As a key player in the marketing and sales ecosystem, you will work closely with regional sales and business development teams to ensure events align with business priorities, support business objectives, and contribute directly to revenue goals. You’ll be responsible for end-to-end event management.
Responsibilities
- Event Strategy & Business Integration
- Translate commercial priorities into event strategies with clear business cases
- Develop annual roadmaps aligned to growth objectives
- Define success metrics beyond attendance (pipeline impact, activation, ROI, incrementality)
- Create scalable playbooks and operating models
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with Business Development, Sales, Supply, PR, Content, Branding, and Senior Leadership
- Align diverse stakeholders with competing priorities
- Drive structured working sessions and executive updates
- Influence without direct authority in a matrix organization
- Program & Project Governance
- Lead large, multi-workstream initiatives end-to-end
- Build detailed project plans with risk mitigation and milestone tracking
- Establish governance cadence and reporting mechanisms
- Ensure disciplined execution across markets and teams
- Performance Measurement & Optimization
- Build measurement frameworks and post-event impact analysis
- Identify key performance levers and iterate based on data
- Develop dashboards to track ROI and business outcomes
- Introduce test-and-learn approaches to improve effectiveness

- Capabilities
- Structured problem-solving: ability to turn ambiguity into clear frameworks and action plans
- Strong analytical thinking and commercial acumen
- Stakeholder mastery: experience working with senior leadership; comfortable navigating high-visibility, high-complexity environments; strong influence skills without relying on hierarchy
- Execution excellence: exceptional project management discipline; ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives; strong attention to detail without losing strategic altitude
- Business orientation: understands P&L drivers and growth mechanics; makes data-informed decisions; focused on impact, not activity
