Manager, Audit Services

About the role

The position requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration or finance, a minimum of five (5) years of internal audit experience in healthcare auditing, and a Certified Internal Auditor or Certified Public Accountant certification. Additional preferred qualifications include three (3) years of public accounting audit experience, experience with Epic, data analytics software such as ACL, and IT auditing.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily activities of the Audit Services department
• Operate with operational accountability and oversight
• Identify financial and operational risk areas and provide advisory services to senior management
• Review and appraise the soundness, adequacy, and application of accounting, financial, and other operating controls
• Assist in the identification of the organization’s financial and operational risk areas
• Provide advisory services to help senior management effectively manage identified risks
• Review and appraise the soundness, adequacy, and application of accounting, financial, and other operating controls
• Ensure successful completion of teamwork tasks, projects, and responsibilities in support of departmental and organizational goals
