Manager

About the role

The Manager’s primary purpose is to develop restaurant management and hourly staff to establish the Daily Jam brand locally, build sales, manage profitability, and ensure employee and guest satisfaction while preserving the integrity and culture of the concept. The Manager is accountable for the overall success of the operation under their control.

Responsibilities

• Develop and train a quality staff of “A” players.
• Build sales and manage profitability.
• Maintain employee and guest satisfaction.
• Uphold honesty and integrity in all actions.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to listen.

Requirements

• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Regularly work more than 40 hours per week (typically 45‑50 hours), five days on and two days off.
• Lead, train, teach, and coach culinary duties in the kitchen.
• Lead, train, teach, and coach host and service functions in the dining room.
• Perform walking, bending, stooping, and moderate to heavy lifting on a semi‑regular basis.
• Exposure to extreme temperatures (e.g., freezer, heat behind the cook line) on a moderate basis.
• Valid driver’s license.

• At least two years of full‑time restaurant experience.
• Passion for fresh food and customer service.
• Unfailing work ethic and integrity.
• Ability to attract, develop, and inspire a quality staff.
• Professional presentation and demeanor.

Schedule

Full‑time position, typically 45‑50 hours per week with a five‑day work schedule and two days off.
