Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end Accounts Receivable operations, including invoicing, collections, cash application, deduction management, account reconciliations, and customer dispute resolution.
  • Manage customer onboarding, credit reviews, credit limits, ongoing credit risk, and delinquent account escalations.
  • Maintain customer master data, resale certificates, and compliance with data governance standards.
  • Oversee Shopify, Celigo, SPS (EDI), SupplyPike, Vividly Trade + Cash application tools, including onboarding, troubleshooting, integrations, and process enhancements.
  • Lead AR month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and close documentation.
  • Support revenue recognition, sales cut-off testing, trade spend accounting, deductions, and accruals.
  • Prepare and analyze AR performance metrics, including DSO, aging, collections effectiveness, deductions, and customer risk exposure.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, BAT, Customer Operations, Accounting, Finance, and IT teams to improve reporting, cash flow performance, and operational effectiveness.
  • Maintain audit-ready support for AR balances, revenue reconciliations, deductions, reserves, and trade accruals.
  • Support and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures related to receivables and revenue in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Drive process improvements through automation, system enhancements, workflow optimization, and SOP development.
  • Manage, coach, and develop AR team members, including hiring, performance management, career development, KPI ownership, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer service excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business required.
  • 6+ years of progressive Accounts Receivable and accounting experience.
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition (ASC 606), trade spend accounting, customer deductions, credit and collections, and month-end close processes.
  • Experience preparing reconciliations, journal entries, and audit support schedules.
  • Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and data analysis.
  • Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite preferred.
  • Experience with FloQast or similar close management software preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement mindset.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional partnership skills.
  • Proven ability to operate in a fast-growing, high-volume CPG environment.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $115,000 - $125,000 with a 20% annual bonus opportunity.

You must reside in the United States to be considered for this position. Chomps does not provide employment-based visa sponsorship at this time. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
