Manager, Applied AI - Title Launch Management

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Manager, Applied AI - Title Launch Management to join the team of a leader in the Hospitality & Recreation space. This role will lead applied AI initiatives tied to content launch operations, with a strong focus on building reliable evaluation systems and safety guardrails. The manager will partner closely with product management, engineering, and data teams to improve model performance and operational execution. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines technical depth in AI/ML with a strong product mindset and the ability to turn business goals into clear team priorities. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Oversee a diverse portfolio of initiatives for the company's title launch strategy
• Lead the development of scalable evaluation pipelines and safety guardrails
• Guide the design of data infrastructure to improve model performance
• Coach and develop a high-performing team of ML and data professionals
• Collaborate with product management and engineering teams for strategic execution
• Cultivate partnerships across departments to influence outcomes
• Foster a culture of ownership and timely delivery

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management experience in shipping AI/ML software with business impact
• Proficiency in software engineering fundamentals and LLMs, RAG, and agentic architectures
• Proven track record in designing evaluation pipelines for AI/ML products
• Familiarity with ML evaluation methodologies and continuous improvement processes
• Experience in automation within operational workflow
• Ability to cultivate open communication and empower team members
• Strong product mindset to translate business goals into team priorities

Pay

Compensation: $160,000 – $200,000 annually
