Manager, Applications Development & Engineering

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the top law firms in the U.S.! Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is looking for a Manager, Applications Development & Engineering to join our team in our Seattle, Portland, Anchorage, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, or Washington D.C. offices. This position offers the flexibility to be fully remote while working within reasonable commuting distance from any of our offices.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of multiple development teams, ensuring ROI-aligned delivery.
• Definition of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), budgets, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for application portfolio.
• Implementation and maintenance of DevOps, CI/CD, and quality frameworks.
• Mentorship and hiring of top engineering talent.
• Liaison between IT and business to align technical strategy.

Requirements

• 10+ years in software delivery.
• 3+ years in managerial roles.
• Bachelor’s degree; MBA or technical master’s a plus.
• Deep understanding of DevOps, Agile, cloud architecture.
• Experience in technology budgeting and portfolio management.
• Proven leadership and conflict resolution skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in: computer science, software engineering, information technology, information systems, computer engineering, or a related technical/STEM field.
