About the role

As a Manager, Analytics Engineering, you will lead a team of engineers focused on developing and maintaining advanced analytics solutions that drive business insights and decision-making. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and optimization of these solutions, ensuring they meet the needs of both internal stakeholders and external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of analytics engineers in designing, implementing, and optimizing advanced analytics solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Continuously improve processes and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in analytics engineering or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leading and mentoring a team of engineers.
  • Experience with data modeling, SQL, and data warehousing tools.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning and statistical analysis techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
  • Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
