About the role

The successful candidate will lead and manage assigned areas, translating objectives into effective actions to ensure high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include developing strategies for delivering quality care, coordinating with medical staff, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, implements, and evaluates patient care delivery
• Develops and implements strategies for quality patient care
• Ensures staff provides quality, effective care consistent with policies and procedures
• Maintains compliance with applicable regulations such as CLIA, OSHA, Medicare, etc.
• Facilitates the development of departmental policies and procedures
• Coordinates activities between clinical units to ensure quality patient care
• Monitors and evaluates quality of care
• Works closely with staff and peers to identify opportunities for improvement
• Collaborates with Medical Director to ensure program goals are established and achieved
• Resolves patient care issues as identified
• Reviews outcomes and evaluates operational systems to ensure ongoing improvement
• Creates a work environment that promotes continuous quality improvement, team building, and personal development
• Collaborates with medical staff and ancillary service providers to review practices, services, and resolve issues
• Selects, hires, trains, manages, and evaluates the effectiveness of employees
• Provides orientation, inservices, continuing education programs, and professional development
• Assists with the creation and oversight of clinic budgets
• Analyzes trends to develop long-range plans for budget needs
• Participates in committees and completes additional projects as assigned
• Serves as a direct supervisor for support staff within the clinical unit

Requirements

• Education: Associate's Degree OR High school diploma AND three (3) years of healthcare experience
• Certification: Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date
• Licensure: State criminal background check and Federal (if applicable), as required for regulated areas

Qualifications

• Experience: Two (2) years in a healthcare management/supervisory position
