Manager, AI Platform Engineering

As Manager, AI Platform Engineering based in Chicago, IL, you will spearhead our bold venture in AI platform development, crafting the future of our AI platform, GSmart, powering smart features across our enterprise treasury products. You will work on greenfield projects, bring insight and focus to undefined problems, collaborate with product and solution teams to turn customer challenges into fluid technical solutions, and help advance the future growth of AI platform engineering at Ripple Labs Inc.
Responsibilities
- Own the AI platform roadmap and delivery end to end
- Ensure platform AI is measurable and dependable
- Work together with product and solution teams to address real customer challenges
- Enable teams to build on the platform and own their deliverables
- Hire, mentor, and grow the platform AI engineering team
- Stay actively involved and contribute to architecture and full-stack production code
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including full-stack development and AI/ML platform infrastructure
- 2+ years of engineering management experience
- Strong full-stack development skills — front-end through back-end and APIs — with solid cloud infrastructure experience
- Experience operating AI systems in production
- Deep, current command of AI and modern LLM/GenAI infrastructure

Pay
CA Annual Base Salary Range: $212,000 USD - $265,000 USD
