Manager, AI/ML Engineering

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Manager, AI/ML Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This leader will guide a high-performing team focused on advancing machine learning capabilities that support clinical and operational outcomes in a healthcare environment. The role will balance technical leadership, people development, and cross-functional partnership to move AI/ML initiatives from research into production. This is a hands-on management opportunity with meaningful influence over team culture, delivery quality, and the evolution of deployed ML systems. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate technical growth through regular performance management and career planning
• Drive quarterly planning for AI/ML initiatives aligning with business objectives
• Establish an inclusive engineering culture with a focus on mentorship and standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate clinical needs into production-ready models
• Oversee the evolution of ML systems from research to deployed microservices
• Provide architectural guidance to enhance team impact and technical reach

Pay

Compensation: $161,000 – $221,500 annually
