Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR business partner to the Advisory practice, providing strategic and day-to-day HR support to leaders and employees.
- Manage a broad range of Human Resources functions, including employee relations, conflict resolution, HRIS administration, onboarding and offboarding, talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Manage and develop direct reports, fostering a collaborative, high-performing, and service-oriented HR team.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with business leaders to understand organizational priorities, workforce needs, and talent strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, conduct investigations and resolve complex workplace issues while ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and employment laws.
- Balance business and employee needs by effectively communicating company policies and practices while advocating for a positive employee experience.
- Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on performance management, employee development, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and change management.
- Support and administer key annual HR processes, including performance reviews, compensation planning, promotions, and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, with a strong emphasis on California employment law.
- Oversee HRIS data integrity and leverage workforce data, reporting, and analytics to support informed business decisions.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on recruiting efforts, workforce planning, and hiring initiatives to attract and retain top talent.
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders to support organizational objectives and mitigate risk.
- Perform additional duties and special projects (as assigned).
Qualifications
- Have a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field (professional HR certification—SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR—preferred).
- Have a minimum of 6-9 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including extensive employee relations and HR business partnering responsibilities.
- Have experience supporting leaders within professional services, consulting, accounting, legal, financial services, or other client-focused environments.
- Have experience supporting multi-state employee populations (preferred).
- Demonstrate initiative, professionalism, sound judgment, integrity, confidentiality, and strong self-awareness in handling sensitive and complex matters.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while exercising exceptional judgment and maintaining strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess exceptional organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize, manage multiple competing demands, and meet deadlines.
- Possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Have experience working with HRIS platforms (familiarity with Paycom is preferred).
