Role Summary
CRICO is seeking an experienced analytics leader to serve as Manager, Advanced Analytics. This role is responsible for leading a high-performing team of data analysts and data scientists and overseeing a diverse portfolio of analytics initiatives that supports patient safety and insurance functions for CRICO and external Candello clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts and data scientists.
- Manage a portfolio of analytics projects, products, and research initiatives.
- Partner with the Vice President of Advanced Analytics to define and execute the department's strategic vision and roadmap.
- Oversee the design, development, and delivery of analyses, advanced analytical models, dashboards, and reports.
- Build strong partnerships across Patient Safety, Claims, Underwriting, Finance, Candello, Information Technology, and Executive Leadership.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders on data-informed decision-making.
- Promote best practices in analytics, visualization, artificial intelligence, and data storytelling.
- Support innovation and thought leadership through the effective use of CRICO and Candello data assets.
- Promote strong data governance, quality, stewardship, and compliance practices.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline. (Master's degree or higher in a related field preferred)
- Five (5) or more years of experience in analytics, data science, business intelligence, healthcare analytics, or a related field.
- Three (3) or more years of experience leading analytics professionals and managing high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects and stakeholder priorities.
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, quantitative methods, and data-driven problem solving.
- Proficiency with modern analytics platforms and tools.
- Experience in healthcare, patient safety, medical malpractice, insurance, risk management, or quality improvement preferred.
- Experience working with healthcare claims, malpractice, patient safety, clinical quality, or other healthcare risk-related datasets preferred.
- Experience applying machine learning, predictive analytics, or artificial intelligence techniques preferred.
- Experience developing analytics products and self-service analytics solutions preferred.

- Knowledge of healthcare quality, patient safety, clinical operations, risk management, or medical malpractice analytics preferred.
- Experience with data visualization and storytelling best practices preferred.
- Curiosity, innovation, and a demonstrated ability to foster a culture of experimentation and continuous learning preferred.
