About the role

The Manager of Accreditation and Regulatory is responsible for the oversight, planning, implementation, and management of activities that support UF Shands in maintaining a successful accredited health care organization. This manager may lead or supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Act as the on-site survey coordinator
• Serve as a resource and consultant to the organization
• Act as a liaison between the organization and its accreditation and regulatory bodies
• Serve as an expert in continuous improvement processes

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing, Public Health, or other health care-related field required
• Minimum of 3–5 years of current experience as a leader or manager in an acute healthcare environment
• Superior knowledge, skills, and ability in working with accreditation and regulatory agencies
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to provide broad vision and analytical skills to complex and comprehensive problems
• Strong communication and negotiating skills

Qualifications

MSN candidates must hold a current RN license in the state of Florida and obtain national nursing certification within six months of hire.
