Job Summary
This role is part of a dynamic team at Epirus, working closely with the accounting team to manage all aspects of Accounts Payable. Reporting to the CFO, this position requires a deep understanding of procurement and payment processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of invoices and payments
- Enforce and implement AP procedures, including three-way matching
- Verify employee expense reports and prepare/review reimbursement reports
- Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations for AP and payroll
- Document all accounts payable processes and maintain documentation for continuity
- Evaluate and adapt current processes to meet organizational growth needs
- Create long-term strategies for continuous improvement
- Aid the Accounting team with month-end close processes
- Manage travel and expense policies and ensure compliance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 4+ years of experience with payroll and accounts payable
- Experience in ERP implementation and maintenance (Epicor)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status (with potential for security clearance)

- Self-starter capable of handling a fast-paced, evolving environment
Additional Duties
- Supervise and mentor accounts payable team members
- Assist in month-end close and year-end audit requests
- Produce, review, and analyze reporting essential to performance measurement
- Develop and maintain control reports for accurate data entry
- Make strategic decisions to optimize resource allocation within processing teams
- Ensure timely completion of all invoice processing activities critical to month-end close
- Support month-end close and year-end audit requests
